Hi Rob,
Does the throb occur with the optical cable unplugged?
How long does the throb take to occur? How long does it last?
Is it in time with the audio playing or clearly seperate?

Thanks Rob,
If you change source once the issue starts does the throb stop?
What TV do you have?
Can you try a device on aux, same issue?
