I need help with remote learning on my E series speaker

This article will help you if you are having issues with remote control learning on your E series soundbar.

How to learn a remote

Your E series speaker has the ability to scan a new remote control button and use this as the VOL+ or VOL- functions. This means that when using your E series speaker you will not need to reach for the Orbitsound remote in order to use these functions. Most traditional IR type remotes are supported, Bluetooth or Smart remotes may not be. To setup your remote, follow the steps below:

  1. Press and hold the BLUETOOTH () and SOURCE () buttons on your speaker for 5 seconds until the display shows an animation showing volume up ().
  2. Press the VOL+ button on the remote you wish to learn. If the button scanned correctly, your speaker will flash its lights and then show the animation again ().
  3. Press VOL+ again to confirm. Your speaker should now show the volume down animation ().
  4. Press the VOL- button on your remote. If the button scanned correctly, your speaker will flash its lights and then show the animation again ().
  5. Press VOL- again to confirm. All the display lights should now flash and your remote will be able to control your speaker's volume.
