I need help with remote learning on my A series soundbar

This article will help you if you are having issues with remote control learning on your A series soundbar.

How to learn a remote

Your A series soundbar has the ability to scan a new remote control button and use this as a volume button. This means that when using your A series soundbar you will not need to reach for the Orbitsound remote in order to adjust the soundbar volume. Most traditional IR type remotes are supported, Bluetooth or Smart remotes may not be. To setup your remote, follow the steps below:

  1. Press and hold the button on your soundbar for 3 seconds. The control panel will show lights on the right panel going from left to right.
  2. Press Vol+ on your TV remote quickly once wait a few seconds and then press it again. The lights on your soundbars right hand panel should now be going from right to left.
  3. Repeat for Vol-, again being sure to wait a few seconds before performing your second quick press. Your soundbar should confirm successful remote learning by flashing all lights.

If the learning did not work no lights will flash. Try again and use quick presses. Your A series soundbar can learn many popular remotes, but is not able to support all remotes.

This article applies to the following products: BAR A70, BAR A60
