I am having issues with my wired subwoofer

This article will help you if your wired subwoofer is crackling, has intermittent sound or no sound.

Subwoofers produce low-frequency sound, so it's unlikely that you will actually 'hear' sound at low volumes. Try placing your hand on top to see if you can 'feel' any vibrations. If you can't, try the below steps one by one until your issue is fixed:

  1. Ensure your subwoofer cable is securely connected at both ends and that the cable is not torn or damaged.
  2. Unplug the speaker cable from the subwoofer and soundbar and reverse the ends so the end that was in the soundbar is in the subwoofer and vice versa.
  3. Try a new speaker cable.
  4. Unplug the bar from the electricity mains for 12+ hours and then reconnect to the mains and see if the issue persists.
  5. If you still cannot feel any vibrations after trying all of the above, then there may be an issue with the subwoofer. Please contact Orbitsound Support for further assistance.
