Try to keep your soundbar elevated if you can and in-line with your ears. Of course, this won’t always be possible, so for best results, place your soundbar directly in front of, or just below your TV. Fortunately, our BAR A70 is one of the shortest soundbars on the market, creating more flexibility in terms of positioning, which means you can adjust the soundbars placement for optimal performance.

We know it’s tempting, but if you can, avoid placing your subwoofer in a cabinet, as the vibrations caused from the bass produced by the subwoofer would create a bad sound experience. Instead, we suggest you place your subwoofer away from anything that could vibrate.

We normally suggest placing your subwoofer close to the soundbar, but bass frequencies aren't very directional, so you can place it further away without negatively affecting the sound.

Subwoofers are omni-directional because your ears struggle to tell where bass frequencies are coming from, meaning your subwoofer should perform perfectly well behind your sofa. However, this depends on things like the size of your room, and how far away the subwoofer is from the soundbar.

For best results, try your subwoofer behind the sofa and see how it sounds. If you aren't happy with the sound, simply move the subwoofer around until the sound quality meets your expectations.

We strongly advise that your soundbar is placed in front of your TV as you don't want anything blocking the soundwaves. We recommend that your subwoofer is placed close by, normally to the side. However, a subwoofer can be placed anywhere within the room, making little to no difference in bass sound quality.
