I need help with remote learning on my P series soundbar

This article will help you if you are having issues with remote control learning on your P series soundbar.

How to learn a remote

Your P series soundbar has the ability to scan a new remote control button and use this as the or buttons. This means that when using your P series soundbar you will not need to reach for the Orbitsound remote in order to use these functions. Most traditional IR type remotes are supported, Bluetooth or Smart remotes may not be. To setup your remote, follow the steps below:

1. Press and hold the and buttons on your soundbar for 3 seconds or until the display flashes.
2. Press the button on the control panel of your P series that you wish to learn, for example .
3. Press the button on the remote you wish to use for the function in question, in our example .
4. Press the button on the remote again and the learning should be complete.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for any other buttons on the control panel of your P series you wish to assign to your chosen remote.

If the learning did not work no lights will flash. Try again and use quick presses. You should only use buttons that you do not use for another function or don't use often.
